[Matthew 25:21] - [Luke 9:61] = Many difficult decisions and leaps of faith
What comes between hearing "Well done good and faithful servant. You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things" and "'I will follow you, Lord, but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.' Jesus replied, 'No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.'" What comes between? A life of fearless obedience and counter-cultural decisions. Decisions that might upset my parents in order to follow and obey the Will of God. It seems so simple....and yet incredibly daunting if you REALLY believe and make the harder choice. My heart waits to find the answers to, "Is God really enough in this, too? Will I be okay?" Man I'm scared.

Los Angeles could definately use a "light" in the darkness. I am so happy you are here and leading the small group. Can't wait to see what God has in store for you!
